2000年12月8日,美丽如画的海南三亚迎来了一次中国零售业的信息峰会。之所以称为信息峰会,因为它云集了国内一些知名零售企业的高层管理和信息主管人士。会议的主题围绕如何发展商品流通业的电子商务及实现赢利之道。此次会议是由富基旋风公司、IBM公司主办的。出席会议的有北京西单商场、王府井百货大楼、燕莎望京购物中心、百盛集团、武汉中商集团、广州宏城、深圳天虹商场、石家庄东购商场、东莞美佳等几十家零售企业的代表。会场的醒目之处赫然打出“告别互联网烧钱时代”的标语。
December 8, 2000, the picturesque Hainan Sanya ushered in a Chinese retail information summit. It is called an Information Summit because it brings together senior management and information executives from some of China’s leading retailers. The theme of the conference revolved around how to develop e-commerce in the commodity distribution industry and make profits. The meeting is sponsored by Fuji Cyclone and IBM Corporation. Present at the meeting were representatives of dozens of retail enterprises including Beijing Xidan Market, Wangfujing Department Store, Yanshan Wangjing Shopping Center, Parkson Group, Wuhan Zhongshang Group, Guangzhou Hongcheng, Shenzhen Rainbow Mall, Shijiazhuang East Mall and Dongguan Meijia. The highlight of the venue impressively hit the “Say goodbye to the Internet burn time” slogan.
