沈洽《音腔论》在对其“音腔” 观念内涵的阐释中,分别提出了“音自身变化” 与“不同音感”两种特征,但这两种特征实际上存在着难以通融的矛盾,不能统一于其‘音腔” 观念中;他强调的中、西方传统音乐音高变化的不同性状——“递变量” 与“跃迁”也并不能成为其“音自身变化” 与“不同音组合”两种音感观念的支撑条件.《音腔论》过分夸大了“音腔”的形式与意义,其“音腔是一种整体结构” 的“核心思想”是不能成立的.
