In 1911, a turbulent year for China, it was a year for the photography world in China. Before and after the Revolution of 1911, the work of photography and reporting developed to a new stage. The revolutionaries and the royalists took part in the opening up of popular wisdom in a straightforward and intuitive way in taking advantage of photos and images while cracking down on political opponents and expressing one’s political views. When photography met the Great Revolution, the tracing of the 1911 situation made an unusual chapter in the history of Chinese images. During this period, with the maturity of printing, many current-issue photo albums or postcards were published domestically. One of the most influential devaluation of the Shanghai Commercial Press editing and publishing << Revolution Photo Portrait >>.
