根据教育部文件规定,高中英语教学应当以促进学生心智、情感、价值观的发展为重点,做到在教育教学中提高学生的人文素养。但是我国现阶段高中生英语学习大部分处在死记硬背阶段,这主要是因为我国教育制度为应试教育。在这种制度下学生没有足够的动力去学习英语,只能依靠阅读、背诵、背语法等方式提高英语成绩。而且现阶段高中英语教材中,涉及到英美文学内容的课文几乎没有,学生迫于应试教育的压力,也没有课余时间去学习英语课外知识,导致学生
According to the provisions of the Ministry of Education documents, English teaching in senior high schools should focus on promoting the development of students’ mind, emotion and values so as to improve the humanistic accomplishment of students in education and teaching.
