艾薇菊·丹提卡(Edwidge Danticat,1969—)是现居美国的海地裔作家。她出生于杜瓦列尔极权专制统治之下的海地,自幼由伯父一家抚养,十二岁才到美国与父母团聚。丹提卡于1993年获得布朗大学艺术创作硕士学位,毕业后出版处女作《息·望·忆》(Breath,Eyes,Memory,1994),之后陆续出版小说、游记、青少年读物、游记、回忆录、散文等各种文类的作品,活跃于美国当代文坛。丹提卡的作品赢得不少奖项,《息·望·忆》
Edwidge Danticat (1969-) is a writer of Haitian descent living in the United States.
