我国电气化铁路区段通过能力主要受到追踪间隔时间、区间运行时分、天窗、速度等级列车等因素的制约和影响。提高电气化铁路区段通过能力要通过采用国内外先进技术装备,强化设备质量;双线区段采用上下行分线供电方式,避免天窗对开行方案的影响;合理安排双线电气化区段的区间布点等,加强相关课题的研究。
