1 Introduction In the use of sound waves for sea exploration and ground exploration and pile evaluation, unacceptable fine sand encountered in this acoustic medium. Therefore, it is significant to study the acoustic propagation characteristics of this medium. This paper describes the method and measurement results of the group velocity and phase velocity of unarticulated fine sand measured by acoustic transmission method.
