实现我国西部大开发是党中央的一项重要战略决策，其战略目标不仅要加快西部地区的经济建设的步伐，而且要通过此项举措，进一步深化我国改革开放，加快我国社会主义现代化建设步伐。阐述了信息资源开发是西部大开发的重要组成部分，是西部大开发成功与否的重要因素。在分析了西部地区信息资源建设和开发现状的基础上，提出了对西部地区信息资源开发的对策建议。
To realize the large-scale development of the western part of our country is an important strategic decision made by the party Central Committee. Its strategic goal not only needs to speed up the pace of economic construction in the western region, but also deepens the reform and opening up of our country and accelerates the pace of socialist modernization in our country through this measure. It expounds that the development of information resources is an important part of the development of the western region and an important factor for the success of the development of the western region. Based on the analysis of the status quo of the construction and development of information resources in the western region, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on the development of information resources in the western region.
