我院几个专业的英语教学,要求学员经过250～300左右学时的基础英语学习,能够了解并掌握基础英语语法,然后进行最后阶段的专业阅读,获得独立阅读英语书刊的能力。个别专业的学员还要求一定的口语能力。什么叫阅读能力?阅读能力指学员经过基础英语学习阶段掌握一定量的词汇、词组及基础语法后,藉助于词典具有独立阅读有关英语书刊的能力。这种能力包含学生综合运用学过的语言知识的能力,也包括通过查词典,根据上下文选择适当词义,将英语译成正确通顺的
Several English majors in our college require students to learn and master basic grammar of English after completing about 250-300 hours of basic English, and then carry out professional reading at the final stage and gain the ability to independently read English books and periodicals. Individual professional students also require a certain degree of speaking ability. What is reading ability? Reading ability refers to the ability of students to read English books and journals independently by means of dictionaries after mastering a certain amount of vocabulary, phrases and basic grammar in the basic English learning stage.
