December 11 is the 70th anniversary of the Baise Uprising. Chen Wei, deputy director of the Central Party History Research Office, invited Guangxi to attend the “Baise Uprising 70th Anniversary General Assembly” at the invitation of the party committee and government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In Baise, he paid respects to the newly completed “Baise Uprising Memorial Hall” inscribed by General Secretary Jiang Zemin.
