Objective To investigate the effect of compliance on IFN anti-HCV treatment in patients with chronic hepatitis C. Methods A retrospective study was conducted on the efficacy and safety of peginterferon alfa-2a monotherapy in combination with ribavirin in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C in open, multicenter, controlled trials. To continue the virological response as the main evaluation index of efficacy, analysis of patient compliance on the efficacy of IFN. Results Totally 190 patients were treated with IFN. Among them, 63 cases were shed without complete treatment, and the rate of shedding was 33.20%. Of the 179 patients who completed 12 weeks of treatment, 102 (56.98%) achieved an early virologic response. 127 patients completed the whole course of treatment, 79 patients achieved sustained virus response, the continuous virus response rate of PP population was 62.2%, the ITT population sustained virus response rate was 23.68%, the difference was statistically significant ( χ2 = 152.5, P <0.0001). Conclusion Complications of patients with chronic hepatitis C treatment of IFN greater impact.
