本文调查了全国五省一部3750个厂矿企业锰中毒的情况,并就锰作业工龄与锰中毒关系,锰烟和锰尘对锰中毒的危害比较以及锰中毒的发病趋势和防治重点等问题进行了讨论。认为锰作业工龄与锰中毒有密切关系,患病率有随工龄而增加的趋势,锰烟危害较锰尘为大,电焊及其它行业锰中毒新病例显著高于冶炼行业。文中提出锰中毒的防治工作应抓紧抓早,当前,更应重视电焊行业的锰中毒防治工作。
