1987年美国铁矿石产量有所回升,据估计约达4500万吨(可入炉矿石——编注),比1986年的4100万吨提高10％。其中球团矿占4320万吨,其余为供烧结的精矿和其它矿石。
U.S. iron ore output has risen somewhat in 1987, with an estimated 45 million tons (available for ore rations), up 10% from 41 million tons in 1986. Of these, 43.2 million tonnes are pellets and the rest are concentrate for sintering and other ores.
