As the issue of the Diaoyu Island has been heating up recently, as a reporter of Xinhua News Agency in Japan, I did a lot of research and also made my own observations in the research. For example, the Japanese government no longer admits that there is a territorial dispute over the Diaoyu Islands. Many senior officials have talked about saying “the Diaoyu Islands are Japan’s inherent territory.” But in my daily interview, I feel that these politicians do not seem to know what Inherent territory, also can not get convincing evidence. At 4 p.m. on July 27, the reporter came to the scene of a press conference held by Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Fujimura at a few questions and seized the opportunity to continuously question him.
