弗雷德里克·泰勒提出的科学管理理论是管理思想发展史上的里程碑,但泰勒思想中对当时美国有组织工会的排斥和科学管理在实施中被滥用的状况导致了工会力量对科学管理运动的抵制和反对,从而使该运动遭受挫折。泰勒建立和谐、协作的劳资关系的愿望由于其理论与实践的较大差距和人们对科学管理思想的误解而并未能够实现。
The scientific management theory proposed by Frederick Taylor is a milestone in the history of the development of management thought. However, Taylor’s conception of the abuse of the then organized union in the United States and the scarcity of scientific management during its implementation led to the unions’ Boycott and opposition, thus frustrating the movement. Taylor’s desire to establish a harmonious and collaborative labor-management relationship has not been realized due to the large gap between his theory and practice and his misunderstanding of scientific management thoughts.
