In addition to the tumor cell microenvironment itself, there are a variety of immune cells and interstitial cells, including immune cells, including neutrophils, macrophages, NK cells, lymphocytes and dendritic cells. Recent studies have found that tumor-associated neutrophils (TANs) secrete a variety of proteases (such as neutrophil elastase, matrix metalloproteinases, etc.), reactive oxygen species and cytokines (such as IL-1, IL -12, TNF-α, etc.) play an important role in tumor growth, metastasis, angiogenesis and immune regulation, and the ratio of neutrophil to lymphocyte (NLR) in peripheral blood is closely related to clinical prognosis. At present, the role of TANs is getting more and more attention. This article reviews the literature published in recent years and gives a review.
