冯友兰(1895-1990),曾任清华大学文学院院长兼哲学系主任,北京大学哲学系教授等。1931～1934年完成《中国哲学史》,为中国哲学史的学科建设做出了重大贡献。从1939年到1946年出版了《新理学》、《新世训》、《新事论》、《新原人》、《新原道》、《新知言》,冯友兰通过以上“贞元六书”创立了新理学思想体系,使他成为中国当时影响最大的哲学家。
Feng Youlan (1895-1990), former Dean of Tsinghua University and Philosophy Department, Peking University professor of philosophy and so on. From 1931 to 1934, he completed the “History of Chinese Philosophy” and made a significant contribution to the discipline construction of the history of Chinese philosophy. From 1939 to 1946 he published “Neo-Confucianism,” “New World Training,” “New Theory,” “New Protagonists,” “Xin Yuan Dao,” and “New Knowledge.” Feng Youlan passed the above "Zhen Yuan Liu Shu He founded the system of Neo-Confucianism and made him the most influential philosopher in China at the time.
