此文在对拟建的长江三峡工程的升船机的效能作综合论述的基础上，提出为充分发挥三峡工程航运和发电的综合效益，升船机应尽早、尽快建成，投入运行的建议。
On the basis of a comprehensive discussion of the effectiveness of the ship lift of the proposed Three Gorges Project, this paper proposes that in order to give full play to the comprehensive benefits of the Three Gorges Project shipping and power generation, the ship lift should be completed and put into operation as soon as possible.
