悠久的文化和忧患意识是中华民族凝聚力的基础,它激励着一代又一代中国人民为民族解放和国家的富强而奋斗不息。70年前中国共产党提出的抗日民族统一战线促成了国共两党第二次合作,并最终打败了日本侵略者;70年后的今天,中国共产党提出只要承认一个中国,什么问题都可以谈。国共两党“度尽劫波,再度携手”,必定能使两岸关系朝着和平、双赢的方向发展。 Long-standing culture and sense of urgency are the foundations of the cohesion of the Chinese nation. They inspire generation after generation of Chinese people to strive for national liberation and the prosperity of the country. The anti-Japanese national united front proposed by the CPC 70 years ago contributed to the second cooperation between the two parties and eventually defeated the Japanese aggressors. Today, 70 years later, the Chinese Communist Party proposed that any issue should be discussed as long as it recognizes one China. Both parties of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party “work hardest and continue to work together” will surely enable cross-Strait relations to develop in a peaceful and win-win direction.
