基于劳动保护的不同维度,本文使用我国上市公司数据实证考察劳动保护是否限制企业的用工灵活性。实证检验的结果表明:随着我国劳动保护的加强,企业的用工灵活性显著降低,具体表现为劳动保护加剧了企业的员工薪酬粘性和用工粘性,还降低了企业的劳动需求弹性。这意味着企业根据自身经营情况和外部劳动市场价格变化而调整员工薪酬和雇佣数量的能力下降。进一步的研究还发现:劳动保护限制企业用工灵活性的现象在民营性质、劳动密集度较高和规模较小的企业中表现得更为明显。
Based on the different dimensions of labor protection, this paper uses the data of listed companies in our country to test whether labor protection limits the employment flexibility of enterprises. Empirical test results show that: With the strengthening of labor protection in our country, the employment flexibility of enterprises is significantly reduced. The concrete manifestation is that labor protection aggravates enterprise employees’ pay, stickiness and labor stickiness, and reduces the elasticity of labor demand. This means that the ability of enterprises to adjust their salaries and employment based on their own business conditions and changes in the prices of external labor markets has declined. Further research also found that the labor protection limit the flexibility of employment of enterprises in the private nature of the higher labor intensity and smaller businesses more evident.
