圆明园虽在1860年遭受了英法联军的毁灭性破坏。但整个园区还留有不少建筑遗迹。至少在1870年时,西洋楼有的建筑还算完整,同治在位时对园内中式建筑还有一次半途而废的大规模重修。直到1895年康有为游圆明园时,还看到“虽蔓草断砾,荒凉满目,而寿山福海,尚有无数亭殿……竟日仅能游其一角。有白石楼一座三层,玲珑门户,刻画花卉,并是欧式”。那么,是谁将它彻底毁灭了呢?
The Yuanmingyuan suffered a devastating destruction in 1860 from the British and French troops. However, there are still many architectural relics left in the park. At least in 1870, the buildings in the West Wing were fairly complete. When Tongzhi was in place, there was another massive renumbered rebuild of Chinese architecture in the garden. It was not until 1895 when Kang You-yuan visited Yuanmingyuan and saw that “although there are numerous graves and desolate places in Shui-fu, there are countless pavilions in the world. Flowers, and is European. ” So, who destroyed it completely?
