《卡马季维》选矿厂每年处理63—66万吨复杂含锡矿石。锡在矿石中呈锡石存在,和石英、钠长石、云母、锂辉石紧密共生。矿石含锂辉石达10%(目前还不能从矿石中提取锂,但已经进行了研究,研究表明,将来有可能经济地回收)。矿石中除了锂辉石以外,还伴生有五氧化二钽,在选矿过程中它进入锡精矿,然后在冶炼过程进到贫锡炉渣中(含1%的锡,8%的五氧化二钽)。
The “KamatiVI” beneficiation plant processes 636000 tons of complex tin ore annually. Tin is in the ore cassiterite exists, and quartz, albite, mica, spodumene symbiosis. The ore contains spodumene up to 10% (lithium can not be extracted from ores yet, but studies have been conducted which show that it is possible to recover economically in the future). In addition to the spodumene, tantalum oxide is also associated with the ore, which enters the tin concentrate during mineral processing and then enters the poor-lean slag during smelting (1% tin, 8% tantalum pentoxide ).
