2006年是“十一五”开局之年,橡胶工业经济运行由高速增长走向稳步、快速增长,呈现更加健康发展的态势。据中国橡胶工业协会307家会员企业统计,2006年共完成工业总产值1236．9亿元,比去年同期增长22．65％;出口交货值:384．7亿元,同比增长28．03％;完成工业增加值260．7亿元,同比增长6．5％。橡胶业的发展继续拉动生胶消耗量的增长,2006年生胶消耗总量为231．3万t,比上年增长16．03％。
