Often visiting a gallery for an artist’s work will allow us to get closer to his work and understand its meaning. The process of artist creation and audience appreciation of the work is a journey to their own heart and can not be expressed in words. Many years ago I came into contact with the work of Huber Sharaffron, still remembering the prominent characters of those dull scenes, the emotions the writer expressed and the messages he conveyed. Those paintings have shown that painters have worked hard to separate their stereotypes from expressing their unique personality. His early paintings mainly depict biblical characters to express his deep thinking about the world we live in and the way of life. Afterwards, Burde Shailefron began to turn to his childhood background, searching for sources of creativity from the mysterious forest of Bourgogne’s Morvan region.
