Objective: To investigate urinary protein and fundus examination in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension in high altitude area. Methods: Forty-seven patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension (Hypertension disease) in the plateau area were selected as the observation group. Forty-seven pregnant women with normal pregnancy in the same period were selected as the control group. The clinical situation was compared between the two groups. Results: Compared with the control group, the perinatal mortality rate, the incidence of fundus change, urinary protein and cesarean section rate in the observation group were significantly higher (P <0.05). Conclusion: Hypertensive pregnancy in high altitude area is more likely to affect the development of fetus and the health of pregnant women than lower altitude areas. Therefore, we must pay attention to it and make prevention and treatment work to ensure the safety of mother and infant.
