西北地区,自然条件较差,地处高原,寒冷多风,干旱缺水,一些铁路沿线缺乏砂石料,加上戈壁沙漠等地段较多,在这样的地区修筑铁路,施工困难较大。为了适应西北地区的自然特征,从五十年代中期开始,我们把拼装化作为解决铁路桥涵设计的重要课题。由于不断进行探索和实践,先后在兰新线、新疆雅满苏专用线、甘肃西沟专用线、宁夏汝箕沟支线上采用拼装式桥涵,收到了较好的效果。拼装桥涵的设计方案,从重力式预制砌块逐步改
In the northwest region, the natural conditions are rather poor. It is located in a plateau, cold and windy, dry and water-deficient. Some of the railway lacks sand and gravel. Along with lots of Gobi Desert, the construction of railways in such areas is more difficult. In order to meet the natural characteristics of Northwest China, from the mid-fifties, we put assembly as an important issue to solve the design of railway bridges and culverts. As a result of continuous exploration and practice, it has achieved good results by using assembled bridges and culverts on the Lanxin Line, Xinjiang Yaman Su Line, Gansu Xigou Special Line and Ningxia Rujigou Branch Line.
