国家经贸委副主任张志刚在元月8日召开的中国食品工业协会四届二次理事会上的讲话中,对建国50年来,特别是党的十一届三中全会以后,我国食品工业所取得的巨大成就,食品工业对人民生活的改善和国民经济的发展所做出的重要贡献给予了充分肯定。张志刚副主任认为,这突出表现在以下几个方面: 第一是中国食品工业已经成为国民经济重要的支柱产业。1978年全国食品工业总产值只有471.7亿元,到1997年增加到5317.9亿元,年均增长10.1%,大大高于改革开放以前26年平均增长6.3%的速度。据1996年完成的第三次全国工业普查结果表明,食品工业总产值在全国工业总产值中所占的比重当时已经上升到第一位,并且
