关于管理者与企业家之间的差别,今年刚刚逝世的管理学大师彼得.德鲁克曾言:“管理者,就是把事情做得正确的人;企业家,就是做正确事情的人。”这意味着管理者是基于某种关于“正确”的既定标准去行事,而企业家则根据权衡和自我判断去寻找这一正确标准。对于当前的中国医院来说,医院院长扮演的就是一个典型的企业家角色。当下的中国医院遭遇到医疗体制、管理机制、经营环境和人文环境等一系列问题,这既给医院带来挑战,同时也带来了机遇。作为医院改革的核心动力—医院院长要为医院的经营与管理摸索种种正确的标准,为医院的生存发展寻找一个正确的航向。本期两篇文章的作者都是来自一线的院长《,中国医院院长的工作职能》为王明晓院长的理论结晶,而《院长何为》则是江启安院长多年的经验总结。理论不是简单地囊括鲜活的经验,而经验也不是纯粹地印证理论,二者对勘,既相互映照,又各行其是,凸现的正是院长这一职业角色所具有的严谨规范性和高度艺术性。
Regarding the difference between managers and entrepreneurs, Peter Drucker, the management master who had just passed away this year, once said: “The manager is the person who does things right; the entrepreneur is the person who does the right thing.” This means that managers act on the basis of a certain set of criteria for “correctness,” while entrepreneurs look for this correct standard based on trade-offs and self-judgments. For current Chinese hospitals, the hospital chief plays a typical entrepreneurial role. The current Chinese hospitals have encountered a series of problems such as the medical system, management mechanism, business environment, and human environment. This has brought challenges to the hospital and also brought opportunities. As the core of the hospital’s reforms, the president of the hospital must explore the correct standards for the hospital’s operation and management, and find a correct course for the survival and development of the hospital. The authors of the two articles in this issue are all from the frontline Dean, “The function of the head of a Chinese hospital” is the theoretical crystallization of Dean Wang Mingxiao, and “What is the Dean?” is the summary of Jiang Qi’an’s years of experience. Theory does not simply include lively experiences, and experience is not purely proof theory. The two reflect each other and reflect each other. It is the rigorous and normative and highly artistic nature of Dean’s professional role. .
