杜寿玢教授和我是长达70年的同学。1945年抗战胜利,燕京大学在北京复校。1946年我放弃到圣约翰大学医学院学习而转学到燕京大学医预科三年级。那时杜寿玢教授在家政系营养专业学习,因为都属理学院,所以一起选修了有机化学。后来,在协和三年级内科教学中,营养科周璿主任讲授“膳食治疗”及编制糖尿病人食谱与营养成分计算时,杜寿玢教授是辅导员之一。老一辈营养学家中不少
