在以往研究辛格小说尤其是其短篇小说的论文中,更多关注的是辛格短篇小说的主题模式、人物形象及犹太文化的思想内涵,很少关注到辛格在创作短篇小说时,从犹太民间文化中吸取精华而彰显出的狂欢化诗学特征。本文以巴赫金的狂欢化诗学理论为视角,以辛格的代表性短篇小说《傻瓜吉姆佩尔》为例,探讨其中的狂欢化诗学特征及其所折射出的含义。
In the previous studies on the novels of Singer, especially his short essays, he paid more attention to the thematic patterns, characters and the connotation of Jewish culture in Singh’s short stories, and paid little attention to Singh’s shortcomings in writing short stories The carnival poetics characteristic that the elite in Jewish folk culture reveals. Taking Bakhtin’s carnivalesque poetics theory as a perspective and taking Singh’s representative short story “Fool Jim Perr” as an example, this article explores the carnival poetic features and the meanings it reflects.
