寺院制度下西藏传统学科发展历史悠久,制度完备,集中地体现于规模结构、教学教法、学位学程及考核制度等方面。西藏的传统学科体系由“外延狭窄而内涵丰富”的十明之学所构成,其核心是佛教的内明学,也讲习因明、声明、医方明及工巧明等。西藏传统学科具有鲜明的民族特色,历经广泛的异域文化影响。其对西藏现代高等教育的改革发展影响巨深,既有积极的方面,也存在消极的因素。如何认识和理解藏族十明之学的学术性与意识形态并重的双刃价值?如何对待传统学科体系中的科学知识与人文思想?这不仅关系到西藏现代高等教育学科专业设置与结构优化,也事关藏民族文化渊源的维系和创新发展。
