OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of unequal length of lower limb on gait by simulating the unequal length of lower extremity, and to provide a theoretical basis for chronic prostheses wearer due to the unequal length of lower extremity. . Methods Unilateral length of shoes was used to increase the length of the lower extremities. The 3D dynamic capture system and ground reaction force collection equipment were used to collect the space-time parameters, the ground reaction force and the joints in the normal and lower extremities gait Angle, and comparative analysis. Results There was a significant difference in step length, step time and unilateral support period between unequal long leg and normal gait. Lower extremity long gait left and right foot heel vertical ground direction with the ground reaction were greater than the normal gait, hip, knee, ankle angle there is a significant change. Conclusion The unequal length of the lower limbs is an important reason for the abnormal walking gait. It may be the reason of leg joint diseases caused by lower limb prosthetic wearers.
