都说董梦阳是中国艺术圈的名家,据传说,认识一个董梦阳,中国的知名艺术家就都摸得到够得着了。人人都知道他从1993～2002年成功举办的十届中国艺术博览会,这十年时间如同大厦奠基,这个全国规模最大、业内影响力最大的艺术博览会确立了他的艺术话语权。2004～2005年成功地策划两届中国国际画廊博览会,2006年打造了“艺术北京”品牌,每年秋天或是春天的艺术展开展期间,来自全国的光辉闪闪的名字们便如同赶集一样蜂拥北京。艺术圈里的人那会儿打招呼总会说:“见着那谁谁了吗?也来了吧?”八成答案都是肯定的。像很多以当地地名命名又发挥着巨大影响力的艺术活动一样,“艺术北京”的理念在于“完整亚洲,推出不可替代的北京。”拥有着庞大数量艺术区和艺术家的古城正在董梦阳的手中被塑造成未来的巴塞尔,他也成为了画廊人眼中的金牌服务商。今日美术馆的楼下咖啡座仿佛都是他的熟人,他飞一般地飘进来,再迅速地飘走,招呼声便如涟漪般扩散开来。
