To study the effect of cadmium on male reproductive function, rats were subcutaneously injected with cadmium chloride for 5 weeks. After the male mice were exposed to the virus, they were mated with normal adult female mice for 1 week at a ratio of 1: 2. Female females were sacrificed on the 21st day of gestation. The luteal number, sex, weight, length and tail length of the females were examined. The results showed that with the increase of exposure dose, the number of mating males in each group decreased significantly (P <0.05), and the number of mating males also decreased significantly (P <0.01). The number of pregnant rats with low birth weight in the low dose group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P> 0.05), and the middle and high dose pregnant rats had no live births. There was no significant difference in the average body weight, body length, tail length, and fetal rat sex ratio between the two groups (P> 0.05). 2 groups of fetal rats found no obvious bone deformity. This indicates that cadmium can significantly affect male reproductive function, but has no obvious effect on fetal rats after successful conception
