Emergency responders work at the site of a landslide in Taining County, located in southeast China’s Fujian Province, on May 10. As of that day, the death toll had reached 35, and one person remained missing.
The landslide occurred on May 8, when approximately 100,000 cubic meters of mud and rock surged downhill, burying a temporary shed at a hydropower station construction site and damaging its offices.
