The hydration and sclerosis properties of common magnesium oxychloride cementitious materials are briefly described, and the reason why they are easy to absorb moisture and return to halogen, defrosting and poor water resistance is summarized. The properties of materials are remarkably improved by polymer modification. And development provides an important technical approach.
