Each medium is our way of reproducing reality and decisively affects our perception of reality. With the advent of the electronic media, especially television, our relationship with the real and the real is being challenged and challenged as never before. In the field of culture today, what exactly does the politics of reproduction mean? How does the image produce knowledge about the reality under concrete and changing historical conditions? What kind of political culture is effective in a television-dominated social context? Is it possible to find a revolution in a society that Baudrillard calls controlled by the interchangeable code? Is there a way to reproduce this “reality” in new realist ways? A review of Brecht’s medium of reproduction theory, especially his outstanding foresight on television culture, will provide us some inspiration for answering these questions.
