利用武昌罗索线虫(Romanomermis wuchangensis)的感染期幼虫室内感染和现场防制埃及伊蚊(Aedes aegypti)的初步研究结果表明:在室内当蚊二龄幼虫与索线虫感染期幼虫之比为1:1、1:2、1:4、1:6、1:8和1:10时,埃及伊蚊的感染率分别为42.25%、71.21%、79.63%、80.43%、85.71%和88.57%,在海南室外水缸内。当释放索线虫感染期幼虫的密度为1500/m~2和3000/m~2时,混合虫龄的埃及伊蚊幼虫的平均感染率为55.45%和70.16%。由此可以看出,现场释放武昌罗索线虫感染期幼虫对埃及伊蚊幼虫有较好的防制效果。
