Published in 2007 by Oscar Wau, the short and wonderful life of Dominican American writer Juno Diaz. The book swept the 35 annual book awards, but also won the Pulitzer Prize for the United States and the National Book Critics Association Award, “Time” magazine was named the best novel of the year. The United States Miramax Production Company even bought the film’s rights to the novel. The book won the favor of readers and critics, and even as a sample of American postmodern novel, into the American university classroom.
