目的:通过既往相关研究,综合评价谷胱甘肽S转移酶T1(glutathione S-transferase class Theta-1,GSTT1)基因多态性与口腔癌易感性间的关联。 进一步亚组分析显示,亚洲人种OR=0.99(95%CI:0.71~1.36);高加索人种OR=1.07(95%CI:0.69~1.64);混合人种OR=1.89(95%CI:0.76~4.67)。结论:尚不能认为GSTT1基因多态性能影响口腔癌的易感性,这一结论尚需要大规模、多种族的流行病学或功能学研究验证。
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the association between glutathione S-transferase class Theta-1 (GSTT1) gene polymorphism and oral cancer susceptibility through previous studies. Methods: According to the principles and norms of systematic reviews, PubMed database was searched for the case-control study of GSTT1 gene and oral cancer. Hierarchical Meta-analysis was used to assess the association of GSTT1 gene polymorphisms with oral cancer based on race and to assess publication bias. Results: Meta-analysis showed that the overall effect of GSTT1 gene polymorphism on oral cancer was OR = 1.17 (95% CI: 0.87-1.58). Further subgroup analyzes showed that Asian ethnicity OR = 0.99 (95% CI: 0.71 to 1.36); Caucasians OR = 1.07 (95% CI: 0.69 to 1.64) ~ 4.67). CONCLUSION: It is not yet known that GSTT1 polymorphism can affect the susceptibility of oral cancer. This conclusion still needs large-scale and multi-ethnic epidemiological or functional studies.
