王船山的君权观是王船山政治思想的重要组成部分,其君权观主要包括以下四个方面内容:第一,关于君主的产生,船山提出了“保类卫群”的新见解;第二,关于君权的性质,船山强调君权的神圣性和至高无上性,又祛君权之魅,宣扬孟子“民为贵,社稷次之,君为轻”的思想,体现了船山的贵民、重民思想;第三,关于君权的范围,船山认为理想的君权主要是保类卫群,然而现实的君权范围却极其广泛;第四,关于君权的更替,船山一方面强调君权可禅可继可革,另一方面又反对弑君、逐君、篡夺,而革命和篡夺之间的分际在于是否合乎“古今之大义”“天下之大公”。王船山的君权观是王船山政治思想具有民主性因素和近代性因素的重要体现,在王船山政治思想体系中具有重要的地位和价值。

Wang Chuanshan’s concept of sovereignty is an important embodiment of Wang Chuanshan’s political thought with both democratization and modernity, and plays an important role and position in Wang Chuanshan’s political and ideological system.
