曼干遗址位于云南省临沧地区云县栗树乡小曼干村南,地处澜沧江西岸二阶台地上,海拔850余米。这里是滇西横断山系纵谷区,山高谷深,坡陡坝少,交通十分闭塞,属典型的亚热带干热河谷(图一)。为配合澜沧江大朝山电站水库的建设,1998年8～9月,云南省文物考古研究所及临沧地区文物管理所等单位对曼干遗址进 Mangan site is located in the south of Xiaoman village, Li Shuxiang, Yunxian, Lincang, Yunnan Province.
