一、前言泡桐是我县主要的速生用材树种之一,栽培历史悠久,不仅生长快、材质好、用途广、为解决我县木材供应不足发挥重要作用,而且还由于它进入了农地,实行农桐间作,有防止水土流失、风沙、干旱和干热风、低温等自然灾害的作用;同时还为发展畜牧业提供一定的粗饲料。但过去我县农民习惯将泡桐作为四旁绿化用材树种,虽然我县有适宜高海拔山地种植的“川泡桐”优良品种,在八十年代以前全县没有一块成片栽植的泡桐和桐粮间作地。 I.
