Unsupported Precipitated Fe-Cu-K catalysts were prepared in a continuous precipitation reactor. Effects of precipitation temperature, precipitation pH level and promoters on catalyst performance wer examined. The catalysts prepared were in situ activated with lower ratio of syngas by temperature-programmed method. At conditions of 250~280℃,1 .5~3.0 MPa, 2~3L/(g(Fe) h) and H2/CO=I, the mean results of long life tests were as follows: syngas conversion, 54~67%; yield of C1+,113~145 g/m3 of CO+H2, C5+, 77~91 g/m3 of CO+H2. Mossbauer spectra indicated that the content of Hagg carbide inereased with running time. Catalyst loss during the withdrawing of wax products from an autoclaye is the main factor of reaction perfrmance decay in the latter part of long life test.
