Sea levels have risen faster in the last century than at any other time in nearly 3，000 years， according to a new study. The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research 1 the study. Scientists there say they believe sea levels will increase 2 up to four feet in the next 100 years. Sea levels rise when greenhouse gas is sent out， which is caused by the burning of fossil fuels （化石燃料）， 3 the earth and cause glaciers （冰川） and sea ice to become water.
