白芍为毛茛科植物芍药Paeonia lactiflora Pall,的干燥根。为常用中药。《中国药典》90版一部白芍项下规定了薄层色谱鉴别。笔者在工作实践中,按《药典》规定的白芍项薄层色谱法鉴别时,很难观察到斑点。笔者认为,因《中国药典》收载的白芍为加工品,其主要活性成分为芍药甙,传统的加工方法(去皮后沸水煮)对芍药甙的损失很大,据文献报道。加工品芍药甙的含量要比生品白芍低5~10倍。为此,对该法进行了改进,将取样量适当增加,点样量相对减少,并相应的延长了提取时间,取得了比较满意的效果。现将实验结果报道如下。
