川东北巫溪地区是四川盆地五峰组—龙马溪组页岩气勘探正在初步探索的新区。通过跟踪、评价巫溪地区最新探井的页岩气相关地质参数,以及页岩储层和含气性特征,页岩气地球化学特征和古生物特征,认为巫溪地区虽然具有良好的页岩气物质基础,但是遭受了非常严重的多期构造破坏。主要表现为乙烷碳同位素明显高于其他成熟度相似区块,以干酪根晚期裂解气为主,反映非常高的排油气效率;巫溪地区页岩孔隙度极低,与构造作用强和滞留油保存少有关;近断裂的页岩甚至出现微弱的变质作用,岩心劈理现象严重,笔石化石表皮遭受热解破坏。综合研究认为巫溪地区页岩气有远景资源,但是现阶段商业开发的可能性极低。

Comprehensive studies suggest that shale gas in the Wuxi area has long-term resources, but at this stage the possibility of commercial development is extremely low.
