Soap production workers exposed to sulfuric acid and nickel dust, both suspected carcinogenic. In this paper, a study was conducted on all-cause and oncological mortality and respiratory morbidity among workers in a soap factory in Italy to investigate the carcinogenic risk of sulfuric acid vapor to humans during soap production. The plant is located in central Italy, with 50 years of soap production history. The concentration of sulfuric acid vapor in the air is 0.64 ~ 1.12mg / m ~ 3 and the mineral oil is 1.2mg / m ~ 3. Other pollutants such as nickel, soap powder , Glycerin and fatty acids. The object of study was a total of 361 workers who entered the factory from January 1, 1964 and took at least one year’s work.
