艾哈迈德·邵基是近代埃及和阿拉伯国家中影响最大的一位诗人,被誉为“阿拉伯诗王”。邵基的父亲曾在宫中任总督私人视察员。邵基于一八六八年出生在总督伊斯梅尔金碧辉煌的宫殿里。他的祖籍并不是埃及,曾祖父艾哈迈德·阿里在穆罕默德·阿里王朝时,从土耳其迁居埃及。曾祖父通晓土耳其语和阿拉伯语,曾任海关秘书之职。他生前豪富,死后给子孙留下万贯家财。
Ahmed Shah is one of the most influential poets in modern Egypt and Arab countries, hailed as “the poet of the Arab poet.” Shao’s father had served as a private inspector of the governor in the palace. Shao was born in 1868 in the splendid palace of Governor Ismail. His ancestral home is not Egypt, great-grandfather Ahmad Ali moved to Egypt from Turkey during the Mohamed Ali dynasty. Great-grandfather proficient in Turkish and Arabic, former secretary of the post. He was rich and powerful during his lifetime, leaving thousands of family wealth to his descendants after his death.
