“写意一族”是近年往南京地区迅速崛起并备受关注的年轻艺术家群体。他们大都毕业于南京艺术学院,都是周京新教授已毕业或在读的博士和硕士们。他们都以写意为创作方式,践行着“一手伸向传统,一手关注现实;在传统经典基础上创新”的艺术主张。常常自发地以沙龙的形式交流各自的创作体会,随着人数的壮大,作品的数量也逐渐形成规摸,有的艺术家创作状态在稳定中有进步,三年前,南京六尘艺术馆有心约请这些年轻的艺术家做一次整体亮相,展出这些年轻艺术家创作的作品,来推介这些年轻的写意画家,向社会介绍他们的创作主 “Freehand family ” is a group of young artists who have been rising rapidly in Nanjing in recent years and attracting much attention.
